We get it, it’s really confusing. A Greenville-based retail store without an address! While we would love to have that brick-and-mortar for you to visit and see all our amazing and unique products, the reality is that we are a brand new family business and we just aren’t there yet. But we have a plan. . .
Step 1: Sell online and build a customer base.
We have a great website. You really should explore it. Every product you see on the website is carried in inventory at our home in Greenville, SC. We don’t drop-ship our products, and we don’t backorder anything. Best of all, if you live in the Greenville area, you don’t have to wait on the postal service or pay high shipping costs. We will personally deliver your order (whether it’s a single packet of seeds or enough rain barrels for your entire neighborhood) for free!
Step 2: We want a brick-and-mortar store!
We can’t wait for the opportunity to open our physical doors in Greenville, but we’ve chosen to be patient and wait for two reasons. First, we want to learn about our market. We want to get to know our customers better. That way, when we do open those doors, our store will be exactly what Greenville needs. Second, we want our business to have a sound financial foundation. As the saying goes, “It takes six years of hard work to become an overnight success!”
Step 3: We want to become ambassadors for the homesteading movement in our community.
One of our long term goals is to open a large-scale urban farm for the community to come and experience homesteading first-hand. We want to be a source of ongoing education for young urban farmers and homesteaders. While we are still a long way from realizing this goal, we recognize that preparation starts now, and we will be doing as much as we can to get involved in our community as we grow.
